Mayweathers remains under medical care at an undisclosed location. The arrest warrant extends to the entire nation for inter-state extradition. This continues to be an ongoing investigation. ![]() Police believe he fled the area after the shooting, although leads have suggested that the suspect may return to the Parsons area. The department has notified the US Marshals Service Fugitive Task Force to request assistance in locating Young. The warrant is for one count of attempted second degree murder and one count of criminal possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. ![]() Officers then obtained a felony arrest warrant for 22-year-old David Lamont Young III. The ensuing investigation revealed that there had been a large fight at the scene of the crime. Upon arrival, officers rendered first aid to a victim, who was identified as 42-year- old Tyrone Mayweathers of Kansas City. On March 5th, officers with the Parsons Police Department were called to the scene of a reported shooting. The Parsons Police Department is searching for a man believed to be involved with a shooting earlier this month. A search of Anderson-Moseley and the vehicle that he was driving revealed multiple narcotics and drug paraphernalia.Īnderson-Moseley was arrested on suspicion of two counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Sales and Distribution of a Controlled Substance, Interference with a Law Enforcement Officer, and a Parsons Municipal Warrant for Failure to Appear. Officers were able to catch up to Anderson-Moseley and he was taken into custody. When Anderson-Moseley arrived at the residence and spotted the officers, he fled on foot. Officers located the residence and watched for the vehicle that was described Anderson-Moseley would be in. Anderson-Moseley was wanted on multiple warrants out of Labette County, Allen County, and the City of Parsons. Parsons officers were notified of an anonymous tip about Jason Anderson-Moseley being on his way to a residence in the 900 block of South 16 th Street. He has recommended charges of fleeing law enforcement as well as numerous traffic violations.Ī 36-year old man has been arrested on an array of charges after leading Parsons police on a foot chase. Montgomery County deputies were able to apprehend the driver, who was identified as 33-year-old Anthony Rush. The driver lost control attempting to make a right turn putting the motorcycle in the ditch and attempted to flee on foot. The pursuit continued for about twenty minutes, taking deputies on several different gravel and paved roads, running stop signs, crossing the center line and speeding. The motorcycle continued into Labette County, where the Labette County Sheriff’s Office joined the chase. The sergeant located the motorcycle and attempted to pull over the driver but the motorcycle sped away. On Monday evening around 5:10pm, a Montgomery County Sheriff's Office patrol sergeant was alerted to a green motorcycle passing vehicles in a no-passing zone traveling east on Highway 160. A Cherryvale man leads deputies on a chase through Montgomery County and into Labette County before being arrested. ![]()
